What we collect, what stays on your machine, and why.

This Privacy Policy explains how TFTSense ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the TFTSense desktop application and the tftsense.gg website. TFTSense is run by an individual, not a company. We try to collect as little as possible.
1. The most important part: your screen stays on your device
TFTSense coaches you by reading what is already on your own screen while you play. That screen reading and all of the coaching are done locally on your computer. TFTSense does not upload screenshots or video of your game, and it does not stream your screen to us or anyone else. It also does not read game memory, inject into the game, or simulate input. The images it processes never leave your machine.
2. What we collect
Account information
If you create an account, we store your email address, a securely hashed password, and your plan status. We use this to sign you in and to unlock the features your plan includes.
Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number. We keep the identifiers Stripe gives us (such as a customer and subscription ID) and your plan status so we can manage your subscription. Stripe handles your card data under its own privacy policy.
License information
License keys and device activations are managed through Keygen. To enforce the device limit on your plan, a license may record a fingerprint of the devices it is activated on.
Support messages
When you send a support ticket, we store the message, the contact email you provide (or your account email), and a hashed version of your IP address, which we use only to prevent spam and abuse. Support messages may be forwarded to us by email and through a private Discord channel so we can reply. To keep a list of open requests, the subject line, status and date of a ticket are also copied to our private planning workspace in Notion. The message itself, your email address and anything else that identifies you are not copied.
Reviews
If you leave a review, we store the display name and text you submit so we can show it on the site. Reviews are limited to verified owners.
Riot Games data (only if you connect it)
If you choose to connect your account for post-game stats, TFTSense uses the Riot Games API to fetch your own summoner details and recent match history. This is used to show you your own statistics and leaks. It is your data about your own games.
Website usage
The website uses essential cookies to keep you signed in. It may also use privacy-minded analytics and advertising measurement (for example, to understand traffic and ad performance). See "Cookies" below.
3. How we use your information
- to run your account and unlock the features your plan includes;
- to process payments, renewals, and cancellations;
- to enforce license and device limits;
- to answer your support messages;
- to show your own stats when you connect Riot data;
- to keep the Service secure and prevent abuse; and
- to understand and improve how the Service is used.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers we use to run TFTSense, and only as needed:
- Cloudflare - website hosting, accounts, and database;
- Stripe - payment processing;
- Keygen - license key management;
- our email provider - account and support email;
- Discord - routing support tickets to us;
- Notion - our private planning workspace, which receives the subject line, status and date of a support ticket and nothing else about you; and
- Riot Games API - only to fetch your own game data when you connect it.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.
Advertising
tftsense.gg shows one small, closable ad per page, served by Google AdSense, on its public pages. Google and its partners use cookies and similar identifiers to show ads based on your visits to this site and other sites, and to measure them. The pricing, login, password-reset and account pages never load the ad library. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a consent message from Google appears on those pages before any personalised ad is shown, and you can change your choice from it at any time. You can also opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info. Google's own explanation is at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
5. Cookies
Essential cookies keep you signed in and are required for the site to work. Any optional analytics or advertising cookies are used to measure traffic and ad performance and can be declined without losing access to the core site. We do not use cookies to build detailed personal profiles.
Google AdSense may set advertising cookies as described in section 4 on the pages that show an ad; the consent message on those pages controls them for visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland.
6. How long we keep it
We keep account and billing records while your account is active and for as long as we need them for legal, tax, and accounting reasons. Support messages are kept long enough to resolve your issue and handle follow-ups. You can delete your account yourself at any time from the Delete my account section of your account page, which removes your account, sessions, devices, profile and support tickets right away.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can close your account yourself from your account page. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. To make a request, contact us through the support page.
8. Children
TFTSense is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We use reputable providers and reasonable measures to protect your information, including hashing passwords and keeping payment card data with Stripe rather than on our systems. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International users
TFTSense is operated from the United States and uses providers that may process data in the United States and other countries. By using the Service, you understand your information may be processed in those locations.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date above.
